As GTS’ business and relationships with shareholders, employees and customers grows, the keys below have been critical to our success.
Shareholder Focus – Enriching our Native way of life. GTS provides predictable dividends and opportunities for Bristol Bay Native Corporation (BBNC) shareholders through internships and employment.
Customer Focus – Exceed customer expectations every day. This is effectively accomplished by incorporating International Standards of Operation (ISO) 9001:2008 principles in all work areas. Each work area has measureable goals for performance levels; these goals are reviewed at regular intervals. If performance falls short of expectation, processes are reviewed, and a plan is developed to obtain the desired level of performance. This approach has proven successful for corporations around the world.
Employee Focus – Challenge employees in a rewarding environment. Each employee is encouraged to grow professionally through continuing education or obtaining technical certifications. Employees are provided feedback on a regular basis as to how their performance contributes to the success of GTS.
Corporate Ethics – BBNC has adopted a corporate-wide anonymous reporting hotline and the Ethical Advocate website. You may call 1-866-513-7078 or go online: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at BBNC’s Ethical Advocate website.

Since 2007, GTS has provided Government Services excellence to the Department of Defense (DoD) with core competencies in Logistics, Information Technology, Range Operations, Contact Call Centers, Test and Evaluation and Training Support Services. Brief descriptions of these services are available below.
GTS provides excellence in sustainable and affordable technical analysis, design, development and delivery. We fulfill logistics mission requirements, advanced analytical tools applied by skilled logistics planners and technicians provide exceptional services to reduce life cycle costs. As an example, here are some details from our Institutional Review Board (IRB) Medical Logistics contract.
Protocols that are submitted for annual review are assigned to our expert for the initial review; review is mainly administrative. The initial review is a comprehensive verification process of the research members involved in the clinical trial to ensure they have their required research training, Curriculum Vitae (CVs) and all the documents submitted applicable to the trial are the most up to dated versions. Additionally as part of the review of the documents, we verify that there is no discrepancies among the documents and if there is, we communicate with the investigators to let them know that documents need corrections. Once all this is completed this is sent to one or two (depending on the risk level of the study) of the IRB members for regulatory and expert matter review. The position acts as a facilitator for both, the investigators and IRB. We help the investigator on getting their research documents to meet the requirement of the IRB which saves while reducing the review time of the IRB members.
GTS has adopted the IT Service Management (ITSM) as its discipline for managing Information Technology (IT) solutions. ITSM is a philosophy centered on the customer’s perspective of IT’s contribution to the business. ITSM stands in deliberate contrast to technology-centered approaches to IT management and business interaction. The following represents a characteristic statement from the ITSM literature:
Providers of IT services can no longer afford to focus on technology and their internal organization. They now have to consider the quality of the services they provide and focus on the relationship with customers.
ITSM is process-focused and in this sense has ties and common interests with process improvement movement (e.g. TQM, Six Sigma, Business Process Management, CMMI) frameworks and methodologies. The discipline is not concerned with the details of how to use a particular vendor’s product, or necessarily with the technical details of the systems under management. Instead, it focuses upon providing a framework to structure IT-related activities and the interactions of IT technical personnel with business customers and users.
Information Technology (IT) is defined as “the study, design, development, implementation, support, or management of computer-based information systems, particularly software applications and computer hardware.” IT deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to convert, store, protect, process, transmit, and securely retrieve information.
Training and testing of our country’s defense systems is critical when these systems are relied on during wartime situations. Operations and maintenance of the ranges supporting this training and testing is just as critical.
GTS provides Primary Training Range (PTR) operations and maintenance support for the US Air Force and the US Air Force Special Operations Command. Specialized range capabilities include Bombing and Gunnery, Electronic Combat, and Electronic Scoring. GTS provides a low risk, cost effective solution for meeting the range operations’ needs.
GTS provides services in the following Range Operations related areas:
As technology progresses and industry is expanding its virtual capabilities, GTS provides the ideal solution to meet the need for Contact Call Center services. With it primary location in El Paso, Texas, GTS can provide well qualified personnel at lower than industry average prices. GTS can offer this advantage remotely, to any prospective customer, regardless of their location.
GTS, in conjunction with the US Government, operated a medical appointment call center for Active Duty and Retired Military Personnel and their dependents. The operation consisted of answering Inbound Calls and placing Outbound calls. GTS was responsible for scheduling and booking medical appointments for 250,000 beneficiaries in San Antonio, Texas and surrounding areas. In addition to Referral Management Care, GTS booked Medical appointments for Primary Care and Specialty Care. Two full shifts of Telephone Appointment Clerks were employed to cover this operation with hours of operation ranging from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM. A GTS Project Administrator and Team Leads assisted the US government on-site at a centralized customer location.
GTS provides services in the following Contact Call Center support related areas:
Testing defense systems in a clean laboratory setting and having them succeed is far from knowing if they will operate successfully on a battlefield. The US Army has invested significantly into creating operationally realistic environments in which to test and evaluate its systems.
The Army utilizes operationally realistic test ranges to simulate the conditions that will be faced in operational environments for the systems under test. Some of the ranges regularly used by the Army Test and Evaluation Command’s Operational Test Command (ATEC OTC) are Fort Bliss, White Sands Missile Range, Fort Sill, Yuma Proving Ground, Kwajalein Atoll, and Dugway Proving Ground. Additionally, the Army created the Network Integration Evaluation (NIE) program, now known as the Army Warfighting Assessment (AWA), to test new and emerging networked technologies in vast desert and mountainous terrain.
GTS, located near Fort Bliss, provides support to OTC at Fort Bliss, Fort Sill, and deployed locations, in the testing of combined arms systems. Highlights of systems tested include the THAAD and Patriot (PAC3) missiles.
GTS provides services in the following Test and Evaluation related areas:
Since 2010, GTS has supported US Military training with turnkey immersive services that replicate real-world conditions, including all management, logistics, transportation, personnel and supplies.
